To meet the increasing demand for healthcare personnel, the Center for Support & Continuing Education (CSCE) – under the Vietnam Medical Association – in collaboration with the Vietnam Nurses Association, is organizing the training course “Patient Healthcare” (Course 1, 2026). This is a key training program aimed at standardizing skills for staff assisting in patient care within communities and healthcare facilities.
Training Content
The training program is scheduled to take place over two days, from February 9, 2026, to February 10, 2026, featuring scientifically designed modules. Participants will gain access to knowledge ranging from general concepts to specialized techniques:
- Foundational Knowledge: Understanding the psychological and physiological characteristics of the elderly/patients through various stages and their specific healthcare needs.
- Communication Skills: Training in essential skills, identifying barriers, and standard communication procedures with elderly individuals and patients.
- Practical Care Techniques: Detailed instructions on basic positioning and techniques to safely assist elderly individuals or patients with hemiplegia in changing positions.
