
THE CENTER FOR SUPPORT & CONTINUING EDUCATION (CSCE) is a unit affiliated with the Vietnam Medical Association, established under Decision No. 226/QD-THYHVN, with the critical mission of contributing to the improvement of the medical workforce quality nationwide. Founded in a context where healthcare personnel are required to constantly update their knowledge, attitudes, and skills to meet the increasing healthcare demands of the people, the Center serves as a vital bridge between medical scientific advancements and clinical practice.
The core function of the Center is to coordinate with member Associations, medical examination and treatment facilities, and related units to develop and organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities. The Center’s training programs are diversely designed, ranging from updating in-depth knowledge in specific fields to fostering medical management skills, ensuring that health workers meet the conditions to be granted and maintain their Practice Certificates in accordance with Ministry of Health regulations.
The key tasks of the Center include: Organizing retraining courses, continuing education, and professional development for health workers. Coordinating with Specialized Associations to implement high-quality training programs, leveraging the Vietnam Medical Association’s extensive network of leading experts. Supporting training in localities, contributing to the standardization of healthcare quality across regions. Promoting international and domestic cooperation to exchange experiences, acquire, and transfer advanced medical techniques. The Center also implements scientific research activities in the field of training and health sciences to provide evidence for interventions aimed at improving public health.
With a team of experts comprising leading scientists, managers, and doctors with rich experience, the Center for Support & Continuing Education is committed to providing high-quality, up-to-date courses, making a practical contribution to enhancing the capacity of Vietnamese physicians, thereby improving the quality of medical services and community health.
